As a mother of three beautiful children. She found her way into Midwifery and started her own childbirth education and doula business in 2002 after she herself experienced a less then desirable hospital birth that ended in an unneeded cesarean section.
As a hospital childbirth educator and doula, she found that there were major gaps in the health care system and wanted to be more than just a voice for the industry. Still unable to completely protect women from hospital protocols she started her journey as an out of hospital Florida Licensed Midwife. With 19 years of experience Cheryl Moore, Licensed Midwife, is a graduate of Common Sense Midwifery School located in Winter Garden Florida and completed the Midwifery program at Florida School of Traditional Midwifery located in Gainsville FL.

Rather, I embrace the individuality of each woman and her family, encouraging her to determine the path of care she needs or desires. ”Cheryl’s studies include Midwifery and she has several years of clinical experience working in perinatology. She loves providing quality midwifery care to low risk mothers seeking a positive and empowering childbirth experience. She comes with years of experience and a caring and compassionate bedside manner.
